- The Bengals gave up 290 to Flacco last week and ended last year allowing 6 multi score games in their final 8
- They were 6th worst against fantasy QBs last year and allowed multiple scores in 6 of the last 8 in 2024.
- The Bengals only Blitzed on 4% of the plays last week, so Lawrence should have time.
- Game script may force more throwing.

- saved you with the rushing touchdown but even stud WRs have duds, and he still had with 7 targets. Lawrence did have four completions over 15 yards, so was looking deeper as well. I'm willing to blow off last week as a fluke.
- Both tillman and jeudy had double digit fantasy points last week against the bengals
- One of the highest over/unders of the week and Jags might be in a game script trying to keep up.
- Will get Cam Taylor Britt who allowed a 115.9 passer rating against last year and after just one game this year is ranked 106th of 113 CBs according to PFF

- 6 of 8 targets were inside of 5 feet, hence the 33 yard statline on 6 catches. Very hard to be productive with that as we've seen from players in the past, but not impossible. Diontae Johnson and Juju Smith Schusters had years like that. Hunter has much more ability than just short inside stuff though, so I'll focus on the trust in earned volume.
- reports he'll play less offense and more defense this week
- not a true slot guy, but he was designed plays there and played 65% there in week 1 and over the last 8 games the bengals are 6th worst against the slot. May affect Strange too

- Hard to not recognize the 4 for 59 after several decent fantasy days without Engram a year ago. Starting to feel like he's a matchup play TE
- Last week the Browns TEs went 10 catches for 100 yards on the Bengals. A year ago, the Bengals were the worst against TEs allowing the most receptions, 2nd most scores, and 3rd most yards

- led all RBs in RYOE / ATT, 2nd in YPC behind Derrick Henry
- Lequint allen and bayshul tuten get a bump with the Bigsby trade. Allen has the better pass catching profile. Neither worth starting, but worth keeping an eye
- We all really missed maybe he is just the same RB3 he was in 2023, and him being on the injury report basically all year and playing through it was what we saw last year. That said, now we have a good base if he does land on the injury report and play through it this year.
- Bengals allowed less than 2 YPC last week, 21 for 40 rushing for the Browns, but allowed a bunch through the air. At the end of last year they allowed 5 backs over 35 recieving in the 2nd half of the season.

- We are just one year removed from the Jaguars being a bottom pass D in almost every category including allowing by far the most 20+ yard explosive pass plays.
- I'm not sure how much we can read into them holding Bryce Young to 154 yards
- Burrow didn't light the world on fire last week either, but his sub 200 yard day was nowhere near his norm and Bryce's was pretty much his norm
- Burrow had 8 multi score games in his last 9 to end 2024, he'll get back there and soon.

- Lowest amount of average separation per target in the NFL last week
- Gets Tyson Campbell who is 33rd among cornerbacks on PFF and had a 107 pass rating against last year. That rank may be in part due to Young only throwing for 150, so all the CBs got better grades

- Higgins and Chase were the only wide receivers for the Bengals to get a target last week
- Higgins gets an easy matchup as well against Jarrian Jones who has a 34.2 coverage grade in week 1.

- He went 4-26 and got the score, but he's splitting 3 ways. Sample led in snaps, gesicki actually had more red zone targets. Maybe fant is more the pass game option, but he'll likely disappear often with the underlying metrics.

- No other RB for the Bengals had a carry
- Panther RBs went for over 100 and a score, lead back 89 and a score, but Brown gets basically all the work.
- 8 of the final 10 lead backs against the Jags last year went 100+ and they allowed 12 RB scores in those 10 games
- It's hard to like 43 yards on 21 carries, but he did get all ther work and caught aa couple passes and did score
- Jags were 2nd worst against RBs a year ago
